Overview

Image Management#

Custom images are snapshots converted into reusable instance templates. Use images to quickly deploy instances with pre-configured software and settings.

Viewing Your Images#

Access your images at: barrack.ai/images
Your image list displays:
Image name and creation date
Storage size
Source snapshot
Current status
Region location

Image Details#

Click "Details" on any image to view complete information about that image, including when it was created and which snapshot it was built from.

Deleting Images#

Delete Process#

Select Image
Click "Delete" on the image card

Confirm Deletion
Review the image name in the confirmation dialog
Click "Delete" to confirm

Deletion Complete
Image is permanently removed
Confirmation message displays on success

Image Status#

Available
Ready for Use
Image is ready to deploy instances
Can be selected during instance creation
Creating
Processing
Image creation in progress
Cannot be used until status changes to "available"

Troubleshooting#

Profile incomplete
Image not found
Images not loading
Unable to delete image

Limits and Restrictions#

Images are region-specific and cannot be moved between regions
Each snapshot can have only one associated image
Deleted images cannot be recovered
Image names must be unique within your account
